Locations
The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator certification exams. Although it is possible to take three tests in a single day, it can cause a high stress level and affect the quality of the exam. The exam is a test on paper that measures the ability to read, speak, and write in German. The results of the examination are presented using a scale ranging from A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate confirms that the student has reached language level A1. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competency that is outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free of charge. Fees
You must pay an examination fee in order to obtain the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This fee is in addition to the course fee.
